About Skincareku
A small brand that writes its own labels
Skincareku is a skincare catalogue built around one simple rule: if we cannot explain it, we do not print it.
Why this brand exists
Plenty of skincare on the market promises very specific results in a very short time. Some of it can be backed up, some of it cannot. As a shopper, the packaging alone rarely tells you which is which.
Skincareku takes the slower route: explain what is in the bottle, what each ingredient is there for, and what is reasonable to expect. There is no "instant", "permanent" or "guaranteed" anywhere in this catalogue.
How we choose ingredients
Key ingredients are drawn from what is already commonly used in Indonesia and whose role fits into a single sentence. If an ingredient is only there to decorate the INCI list, it does not make the cut.
- Every ingredient's role has to be explainable without medical language
- Textures are formulated for humid weather, not for winter
- Active percentages are stated when they matter, such as 5% niacinamide
What we do not have yet
We would rather say this plainly. There is no physical store, no membership programme and no published laboratory result behind this site. When any of that changes, this page is the first one we update.
The catalogue currently on display is sample data used to show the full shopping flow. The disclaimer page spells out exactly what that means.
Who is behind it
Skincareku is run by Maulana Yusup Abdullah. Product questions, order questions and partnership requests all land in the same inbox, and the same person answers them.
